Mahakaleshwar Temple

Located in the ancient city of Ujjain situated on the banks of Rudrasagar Lake in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple is still one of the most poise and most sacred places for Hindus.

Apart from this, the Bhasm-Aarti is a ritual festival which you should not give a miss. The grand aarti which is conducted on a daily basis in the Mahakaleshwar temple is an important event to grant attention. The morning the aarti is used to awaken the divine God. During this religious ritual, the idol of Lord is worshiped with the holy ash brought from the pier, and before the holy pooja, the vermillion is applied to the linga. It makes to feel great happiness to participate in this aarti. There is only Jyotirlinga
